The suicide of Charles Myers last week still excite a good deal of interest and rumors are rife that he was murdered. Yesterday it was stated that a post mortem examination was about to be made and that arrests would follow of parties supposed to have murdered him.
In a conversation with Coroner Rekert we learned that Richard Myers, brother of the deceased, was telegraphed for to Quincy FL, and arrived here the day succeeding the death of his brother: and he took possession of his effects, namely about $800 in cash and notes and certain papers legalizing the claims of the deceased to an estate valued at $3000 in Germany and returned after seeing his brother interred. Therefore the rumors touching the means by which the deceased came to his death are totally unfounded.
