Funeral services for Charles Knopf, 26 W Fifth street, Newport, were held at the residence at 8:30 am Monday with Requiem High Mass at Immaculate Conception Church at 9 am. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. He was 65.
Mr. Knopf, a Spanish American War veteran, died Saturday at his home. He leaves his widow, Elsie Knopf; one son Edward; one brother Andrew Knopf and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Herzog and Mrs. Harry Knarr, all of Newport.
