A DISHONEST SEXTON-The sexton of St Paul's Church, a colored man, named Charles Davis, is under arrest, charged with stealing $35 in money and various articles of wearing apparel from Albert S Berry.  Since he was taken into custody a large variety of articles, including an opera glass and some children's toys, have been found stowed away under the organ of the church, where it is supposed he put them.

His trunks have also been searched and a considerable quantity of goods, supposed to be stolen, found.  He will undergo an examination before the Mayor tomorrow morning.
