Charles Schabell, Formerly of Newport, Died in Arizona. Body of Charles Schabell, 67, formerly of Newport, will arrive Thursday night at the John J. Radel Co. Funeral Home, 822 York-st., Newport.
Schabell died Saturday at Prescott, Ariz., following a lingering illness according to word received here. He was born in Newport and had lived here most of his life. He was the son of the late Mike Schabell.
Besides his widow, Mrs. Mattie Schabell, he is survived by two sons: A W Schabell, Cold Spring, and Joseph Schabell, formerly connected with the Dine-Schabell furniture store, Newport; and two sisters, Mrs. Joseph Maschinot, Price Hill, and Mrs. Peter Steffen, Newport.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
