NEWPORT
A MEMBER of the tonsorial fraternity named Mike McDonald, whose
place of business is at the Newport Barracks, sold a razor to a soldier name
Cessoll. The latter repented of his bargain and wanted to return the razor and
get his money back.
The matter was fully discussed between them at the corner of Bellevue and Isabella streets Sunday night and the dispute finally settled by Cessoll drawing a revolver and shooting McDonald. The wound is a severe but not dangerous one.
