DEATH
Mrs. Catherine Weigele, one of the most prominent women in the
German work of the Methodist Episcopal Church, died at her residence in Newport
on Saturday. She was President of the National Bethesda Society, whose
headquarters are at Bethesda Hospital, Avondale and identified with the
charitable institutions of the church all over the country.
Her funeral will take place this afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the German Salem Church in Newport.
