FAITHFUL SERVANTS MEMORY
When Judge Berry learned yesterday of the death in Dayton Ky. of
Mrs. Catherine Messink, who at one time was a servant in the employ of Judge
Berry's parents, he at once adjourned Court until tomorrow morning and will
attend the funeral services Thursday morning. He also sent up a beautiful floral
offering.
Mrs. Messink was 79 years of age and leaves three sons and one daughter. She had been a resident of Dayton since 1847 and served Judge Berry's family when the present site of Speers Hospital was the Berry homestead.
