Mrs. Ella Alexander, of 229 E Seventh street, Newport, has
received word that her son, Captain Carroll L Alexander, a former manager of the
Kroger Groceries, is somewhere in the Pacific, commissioned a second lieutenant
March 1943, at Ft Belvoir Va. Capt. Alexander entered the service in June 1942.
Now a supply officer at the Third Air Base, Capt. Alexander attended East High Night School in Cincinnati.
