Mrs. Carrie Fobbe Dies; Funeral to Be Held Monday
Mrs. Carrie Fobbe, 66, Newport, died late Friday at St. Elizabeth Hospital, following a lingering illness.
Before her illness, Mrs. Fobbe lived at 928 Boone-st., Newport. She was a lifelong resident of Newport. She was a member of the St. Ann Ladies Society at St. Stephen's Church, Newport.
She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Millie Stiens, Huntington, W. Va.; and a brother, John Schupp, Newport real estate and insurance man.
Funeral services will be held Monday from the William C. Betz Sons' funeral home, 23 E. Sixth-st., Newport, with requiem high mass at 9 a.m. at St. Stephen's Church. Burial will be St. Stephen's Cemetery.
