FELL ON ROCKS-Carl Voll, 8, son of John Voll, of 423 West Eleventh Street in Newport, was accidentally killed Sunday afternoon, while flying a kite. He was playing in the rear of his home, when he fell fracturing his skull. The boy purchased a bird kite and the father rigged it up for him. The lad had been playing but a few minutes when he fell and his cries attracted the attention of his father, who picked up his son and carried him into the house, where he expired.

Coroner M Higgins held a post mortem and fund that the boy had sustained a bruise and cut on the nose and forehead and a fracture of the skull at the base of the brain. He rendered a verdict in accordance with the facts.

BURIED WEDNESDAY-The funeral of little Charles Voll, who was killed by a fall while flying a kite near his home Sunday took place Wednesday morning from Corpus Christi Church.

LAID TO REST-Carl Voll, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Voll, will be taken from the vault at St Joseph Cemetery, Cincinnati, Sunday afternoon and will be laid to rest in the family lot.
