Carl Greene, Bellevue, will be a candidate for Council on the Democratic ticket in the First Ward. Mr. Greene is a life long resident of the city and lives at 220 Berry avenue. He is a World War veteran, having served two years overseas.

After serving four years as a member of the Bellevue City Council, Carl H Greene, 211 Berry avenue, has announced his candidacy for the Democratic nomination for mayor and has pledged his loyalty to the office, "in the same capacity as I have served. Mr. Greene is a World War veteran, having served two years overseas. He is a member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Blue Grass Aerie of Eagles, No 964. He has taken n active interest in boys work and is an advisor to the Campbell County Knothole League.

 

Carl Hamilton Greene died 13 Jan 1960 and was buried in St Stephen Cemetery.
