DAYTON GIRL BRIDE OF SOLDIER-Mr. and Mrs. C G Rechtin were married July 18, at Santa Anna, Cal. where Mr. Rechtin is stationed at Ryan field. The bride is the former Joan Dolores Kratzmeier, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Kratzmeier, 1308 Sixth avenue, Dayton, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. C L Rechtin, 107 Kenton avenue, Dayton. Both are graduated of Dayton High School.

Lieut. Camillus G Rechtin, 23, son of Mr. and Mrs. C L Rechtin of Dayton, has received his pilots wings and a commission as a second lieutenant in the Army Air Corps. Since receiving his commission Lieut. Rechtin has been piloting Flying Fortress at Gowen Field, Boise, Ida. He entered the Air Corps May 18, 1942. He is a graduate of Dayton High School.

DAYTON SOLDIER WILL TEACH GLASS-Sgt. Camillus L Rechtin, 30, son of Mr. and Mrs. Camillus L Rechtin, 320 Fairview avenue, Dayton, will assume duties as an instructor with the Air Force after being the honor graduate of his recent class in an aircraft and engines course at Sheppard Air Force Base, Wichita Falls, Tex. Sgt. Rechtin, a pilot during WWII based in Italy, formerly was a First Lieutenant. He originally enlisted in 1942 and re-enlisted in 1949.
His plane was shot down over Yugoslavia during the war and he was listed as missing for a time. He was saved from capture by the Germans by residents of Yugoslavia. Sgt. Rechtin is a graduate of Dayton High School.
