COTE BRILLIANTE
Mr. and Mrs. John G Reising entertained a number of friends with
a lawn party at their home on Park avenue on Saturday evening. The guests
included Mr. and Mrs. William Vogt, of Louisville; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Nagel,
Mr. and Mrs. J E Reising, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard, Mrs. Rose Wilmes, Mrs. Josephine
Coldner, Miss Martha Stuminsky, Miss Madeline Wilmes, Miss Celia Pittkor, Miss
Alvera Reising, Messrs. George Reising, Leonard Hawkins, Al Matzen and Ed
Coldner.
Miss Fannie Huber is enjoying a two weeks visit with friends in Louisville Ky. Mrs. Al Schneider of Vine street, will be the next hostess to her five hundred club on Thursday afternoon.
Miss Stella Schwartz has returned from a visit with friends in Bellefontaine Ohio. Frank Huber of Park avenue, leaves today for Louisville, where he will spend time as the guest of relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Hawkins and daughter Estelle spent a few days last week with Mr. and Mrs. John Reising of Park avenue. Mrs. John Klein of Chesapeake and Ohio avenues, will entertain the members of her card club at her home on Wednesday, December 8.
Miss Lottie Kloentrup, of Park avenue invited in a few friends on Monday evening to enjoy a few tables of five hundred. Mrs. Albert Grapes entertained the members of her embroidery club with a dinner on Thursday and covers were place for Mrs. Jacob Loehr of Bonnie Leslie; Mrs. H D Manning of Cote Brilliant; Mrs. George Messman of Covington; Mrs. George Briell of Covington; Mrs. Charles Davidson of Dayton; Mrs. Fox of Grand avenue and Mrs. Joseph Keller of Covington.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Nelson (Mary Agnes Manning) of Cleveland Ohio, are the guests of Mrs. Nelson's parents, Mr. and Mrs. H D Manning of Park avenue. Mrs. Eva Burch is home from a pleasant visit in Montgomery Ohio.
Miss Irene Smith of Vine street, entertained the members of her evening club, the Kentucky Girls at her home Friday evening. Music and games were enjoyed and later refreshments were served. Those present numbered Misses Margaret Jacks, Marguerite Newman, Madelene de Vero, Angelene Hilge, Carolyn Smith, Elsie Stegeman, Magdalene Wilmes, Marie miller, Laura and Irene Smith.

The Wednesday Afternoon Card Club was entertained last week at
the home of Mrs. Henry Hayman on Grand avenue. A dainty luncheon was followed by
the merry game of five hundred at the close of which trophies were awarded Mrs.
Frank Marx, Miss Katherine Ritter and Mrs. C H Morrison.
Mrs. George Huber of Park avenue, was hostess on Tuesday afternoon to the members of her embroidery club. Miss Elsie Stegeman entertained the members of the Kentucky Girls Club at her home, in Fort Thomas Friday evening.
Mr. Robert Newman of Park avenue, was tendered a surprise at his home on Tuesday evening by a part of friends who came in to assist him in celebrating his twenty-fourth birthday. The Five Handed Five Hundred Club was entertained last week at the home of Mrs. M J Stolle on Ohio avenue.
