DEATH
Mrs. Bridget Lydon McKernan, 72, widow of John McKernan, died
rather suddenly after 7 am this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George
Fee, 607 Park av. Newport. Mrs. McKernan had been ill with rheumatism for some
time past, but it was not of a serious nature and her death came as a shock to
her friends.
She had been a resident of Newport for 15 years. She is survived by two sons, Thomas and Bernard and two daughters, Mrs. Alice Rowe, wife of ex-Alderman Walter Rowe, and Mrs. George Fee. The funeral arrangements have not been completed. Heart failure is given as the cause of death.
