Death Takes Boone Gosney
Illness Fatal to former Sheriff of Campbell-co
Boone Gosney, 62 former Campbell-co sheriff, and widely known northern Kentucky Republican, died Sunday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Frank Lodwick, 118 Robson-ave Ft. Thomas, following a brief illness.
Gosney was county assessor prior to the time he was elected as sheriff of Campbell-co. He had been ill for only a few days.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Lucy Gosney; two daughters, Mrs. Lodwick and Mrs. Ed Halloran; two sons, Taylor and Ralph Gosney; two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Plummer and Mrs. Charles Lawson; and four brothers Edward, James, Louis and Bert Gosney.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2pm at the Dobbling funeral home, Ft. Thomas with Rev H C Wayman officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
