Services for Bernard W Schulte, World War veteran, who died Wednesday after a long illness, will be held at 8:30 am Saturday at the residence, 820 Liberty street, Newport. Requiem High Mass will be sung at Corpus Christi Church at 9 am followed by burial in St Stephen Cemetery. Muehlenkamp, Costigan & Roll, Newport funeral directors are in charge.
Mr. Schulte, who was 49, was a plumber. He leaves a daughter, Mary Ann Schulte, and two step daughters, Goldie Mumreko and Aileen Apostle; three step sons, Earl, John and Emil Bensinger; his parents Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schulte and five sisters, Clara, Matilda, Helen and Gertrude Schulte and Mrs. Agnes Groeschen.
