Services for Benjamin (sic) Lickert, retired Chesapeake & Ohio R
R chef, who died Tuesday while cutting down a tree on his farm on Smith road,
Cold Spring, will be held at 2 pm Thursday at the Erschell funeral home,
Newport. He was 61.
Mr. Lickert was a Spanish American War veteran. He was a brother of the late John Lickert, former Newport police chief. Another brother, William Lickert, was a Newport patrolman and detective for many years. Dr. Martin Sauter, Campbell county coroner, said death was due to over exertion.
