On June 16, 1818, Benjamin Mann at the age of 68 years, appeared in open court and stated that he was a resident of Campbell County, Kentucky, and having been duly sworn according to law, makes the following declaration: He stated and swore that he was drafted into the regular service for a term of 18 months in Louisa County, State of Virginia.

The affidavit of John Ducker was also given at the same time and in the same place as the foregoing. The said deponent stated and swore that he was at the age of 58 years and having been duly sworn according to the law, stated that he was both well and favorably acquainted with the said applicant for a pension, Benjamin Mann. It appears that Herbert Taylor is satisfied that the preceding statements are true and due credit. On the 16th day of Jun 1818.

John Trimble states that it is to his satisfaction that the said Benjamin Mann did serve in the War of the Revolution for a period of 9 months and that he is reduced in circumstances. Dated October 25, 1819

William Kennett certifies that at the said time John Trimble was judge of Pendleton County Court.

Eli Edmund and Philip Timberlake certify that they are well acquainted with Benjamin Mann and that they know him to be trustworthy, and that credit is due him, and that he is infirm and unable to labor.

Kentucky Roll, Benjamin Mann, Private in the Revolutionary War, inscribed on the roll Marcy 4, 1820 and dropped July 16, 1821. Restored January 7, 1826 and notification sent to the Honorable James Johnson, H.R. Pension to commence January 7, 1826
