Deed Book M, page 572, 2 November 1836

Indenture made 2 Nov 1836 between William Thompson Senr. of the County of Campbell of the one part and Con Beagle of the County aforesaid of the other part.  In consideration of the sum of $375 William sells all that tract of land situated in the County of Campbell being on the east for of Wells Creek* being part of 1000 acres entered, surveyed and pattened (sic) to William Thompson deceased and known by the Flagg Spring tract containing 100 acres more or less.

Deed Book 37, page 35, 17 Apr 1869, recorded 2 August 1869

Con Beagle of Campbell County this day sold to James Steven of Campbell County in consideration of $1100 in hand to him paid by James Stevens land situated on the south fork of Wells Creek adjoining the lands of Josiah and Belatha Baynum being the southwest of my upper farm containing 40 acres.
