Dr. B Chambers

Cincinnati Enquirer, Friday, 27 July 1883, page 7

Lillie Chambers, wife of Dr. B Chambers, formerly of this city, was in the New York Police Court a few days since on the charge of drunkenness. Her little daughter, a beautiful child, was found in the third story of a tenement house, nearly famished.

Dr. Chambers was at one time city physician in Newport and had his office on Monmouth street above Harris. Mrs. Chambers was a lady that was a great admirer of men and in disregard for her marital vows often had a "dy" time with the boys. It is alleged that her husband is now dead. After he left Newport he had his office on Longworth street in Cincinnati.
