John and Dorothy Barrett
John Barrett was born 20 June 1839 in Kentucky, most likely
Campbell County, son of Davis K and Emily Barrett. He married Dorothy Harpold in
1859 and began a successful business in the Steamboat trade. Dorothy Harpold was
born 2 Feb 1840 in Meigs Ohio.
