"Newport Woman is called suicide" (Coroner Returns verdict in Mrs. Barbara Federle death.)
 

Campbell County Coroner, August Heimbold, Monday, gave a verdict of suicide in the case of Mrs. Barbara Federle, 73, widow, who resided with her granddaughter, Mrs. Othelia Burkhardt, 17 East Sixth Street, Newport.

According to Dr. Heimbold, Mrs. Federle had been in ill health for several years. She ended her life Sunday by drinking a disinfectant. According to relatives, Mrs. Federle had been a patient of Dr. Edward Hermann, Newport, for two years.

She leaves four children, Ben and Nick Federle, Mrs. James Murray and Mrs. William Saner, all of Newport.

Funeral services will be held in the funeral home of Muehlenkamp, Costigan & Roll, 333? York Street, Newport, Wednesday at 8:30 a.m., followed by requiem high mass in St Stephen Church at 9 a.m. Burial will be in St Stephen Cemetery.
