Private Austin McPherson, of the Thirty-seventh Company Coast Artillery, tried by court martial here, charged with desertion, conduct prejudiced to good order and military discipline, selling his Government clothing and disobedience of orders, is sentenced to be dishonorably discharged, losing all pay and allowances and will be confined at hard labor, under guard, for four years at Ft Sheridan.
