DEATH
August Weber, in his sixtieth year, died Tuesday at 9:50 pm at the home of his niece, Mrs. A Gaugh, of 220 East Second Street, Newport. Funeral Thursday at 2 pm from house. Burial at Evergreen Cemetery.

PIONEER
August Weber, a pioneer resident of Newport and a veteran of the
Civil War, died Tuesday at his home, 220 East Second Street, after a long
illness of stomach trouble. His funeral took place Thursday afternoon from his
late home.
