AUGUST UHTE DEAD
Mr. August Uhte, a pioneer resident of Campbell County, died yesterday at his home at Camp Springs, on the River Road at Four Mile, of supposed tumor of the stomach.
He was 52 years of age and leaves a wife and 10 children. He was Postmaster at his place of residence, and was widely known throughout the county. His sickness was a very peculiar one, and he was attended by Dr. Rachford, Dr. Gaines of California Ky. Dr. D Huston and Dr. Shaw.
A post mortem will be held today to satisfy the family as to cause of death. He was a member of William Tell Lodge No 146 IOOF of this city.
