A new chief and assistant chief of the Bellevue Fire Department assumed their duties Monday. The new department head is Raymond Sesher, Dayton, a former fire chief, fireman and policeman in Dayton. Aiding Chief Sesher is Assistant Chief August Bosch, 317 Taylor avenue, Bellevue, a former Bellevue policeman and World War II veteran.
He suceeds Allen Bartee, now held in Newport city jail on charges of attempting to attack an eight year old Bellevue girl. Both deparment officers were appointed by Councilman Herbert Nagel, chairman of the citys Safety Committee.

Bellevue Volunteer Fire Department will hold services Thursday at 8 pm.
