DEATH TAKES MRS. BROERING
Mother Of
Prominent Newport Business Men
Arrangements were being made Tuesday for
the funeral of Mrs. Augusta Broering, 75, of 524 Washington-ave., Newport; widow
of the late Henry Broering. She died Monday at St. Elizabeth Hospital after
undergoing an operation.
Mrs. Broering was the mother of Joseph, Leo and Gustave
Broering, prominent Newport business men. She was born in Germany and came to
this country in 1890 and made Newport her residence. She is survived by eight
sons, Joseph, Leo, and Gustave, Newport; Eugene and Julius, Ft. Thomas; Harry,
Price Hill; and Lawrence, of Los Angeles. She also leaves a brother, Joseph
Scholz, Campbell-co; and three sisters, Mrs. Henry Tiegjen, Rutersville, Tex.;
and Mrs. Carl Kaufmann and Mrs. August Bodman, both of Germany.
Funeral
arrangements are being made by Muehlenkamp, Costigan & Ross, Undertakers.
Burial will be from her late residence.

BROERING RITES FRIDAY
Funeral services
for Mrs. Augusta Broering, 74, of 524 Washington-av, Newport, who died late
Monday at her home, were held at 8:30 a.m., Friday at the residence. Followed by
requeim high mass at St. Stephen Church, at 9 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary
Cemetery, St. Bernard (Ohio).
