Arnold George Engelbert
Arnold G. Engelbert Age 85, of Harrison, OH, died Oct. 22, 2005 at VA Hospital. Husband of Margaret (nee: Freeman) Engelbert for 64 years; father of Arnold F. (Joyce) Engelbert, David G. (Karen) Engelbert & Phyllis C.A. (John) Engelbert Gray; grandfather of 8, step grandfather of 3; great grandfather of 6; step great grandfather of 2. He was preceded in death by his parents Albert & Clara (Wilmus) Engelbert, brother Clifford Engelbert and sisters Alberta Grimmelsman and Claire Engelbert.
He was a US Army Veteran during WWII and retired in 1995
as a Contract Analyst for the US Government. Mr. Engelbert was a member of the
St. John the Baptist Church in Harrison, OH former member of the St. Thomas
Moore Church in Mooresville, IN; Past Grand Knight in 1968 of Knights of
Columbus in Miamisburg, OH; life member of the DAV Chapter 3 in Columbus, OH and
member of the Mt. Senior Downey Council 3660 in Indianapolis, IN
Visitation is Wed. Oct. 26 from 4-8 p.m. (Fast Time) and Thurs. Oct 27 from
9:45-11:00 a.m. (Fast Time) at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home in
Harrison, OH. Mass of Christian Burial is Thurs. Oct. 27 at 11:30 a.m. (Fast
Time) at St. John the Baptist Church in Harrison, OH with Father Edward Shine
officiating. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery in Ft. Thomas, KY*. Memorials
are suggested to United Services Organization.
NOTE: Arnold was buried in the St John Lutheran Cemetery in Camp Springs Ky.
