DEATH IN NEWPORT
Anthony Silverman, veteran shoemaker, and one of the oldest
residents of Newport, died yesterday evening at the residence of his daughter,
Mrs. J A Celia, 305 West Fifth st. following an illness of only four days.
The decedent was 76 years old and for the past half century had been a resident of the city. He is survived by four sons and one daughter.
