DEATH
 

The remains of A. G. Sacksteder, former Newport grocer who died at his home at Hollywood, Cal, early today, will be returned to Newport Sunday, where Muehlenkamp, Costigan & Roll, Newport funeral directors, will conduct funeral services.

Mr. Sacksteder, 59, moved to California about 10 years ago. He had operated a grocery at Fourth and Overton streets, Newport, for a number of years prior to his move.

He leaves his widow, Mrs. Stella Sacksteder, who is accompanying the body from California, and six brothers, Harold, Frank, Ben, Peter, John and Joe Sacksteder, and three sisters, Mrs. Theresa Huck, Mrs. Carrie Brossert and Mrs. Frances Sprauer.

DEATH
 

The body of Anthony G. Sacksteder, Retired Newport grocer, will arrive here today at 6 p.m. from Hollywood, Cal., and will be taken to the Muehlenkamp, Costigan & Roll funeral home.

Short services will be held there tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. followed by Requiem High Mass, at 9 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church.  Burial will be in St. Stephen’s Cemetery.

Mr. Sacksteder died Wednesday in Hollywood.
