DEAD IN PANTRY
Anthony Kuhlenberg, 64, 229 Retreat st. Bellevue, was found dead
in a pantry at his home late yesterday afternoon. His daughter, Miss Otilla,
made the discovery when she returned from a trip to Newport. The body was lying
in a huddled position in a small closet. It is thought he went into the pantry
to secure something to eat. The spoke to him, thinking that he was ill. She
received no reply and called in Dr. Anna Wolfram.
The physician saw at a glance that life was extinct and Coroner Digby was notified. He rendered a verdict of death from apoplexy. Kuhlenberg leaves five children, Martin, who is Sewer Inspector; George, a ballplayer; Joseph, Otilla and Josephine.
