Mrs. Ann Howe died yesterday at her home, 933 Saratoga Street, aged 82 years of old age, leaving five children, Henry L Howe, William B Howe, John Howe, Mrs. Mary woods and Mrs. Ann Hewett.

Mrs. Howe came to Newport in 1833, riding horseback from Virginia. She had always enjoyed excellent health until six weeks ago when she was compelled to take to her bed, her extreme old age having completely exhausted her vitality. Arrangements for her funeral will be made today.
