NORTHERN KENTUCKY DEATHS
 

Requiem High Mass will be sung at 8 p.m. Saturday at St. Stephen Church, Newport, for Mrs. Anna Wegmann, prominently identified with religious and civic organizations who died Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Hospital.  Prayers at 7:30 a.m. at the Betz funeral home, Newport, will precede the last rites.  Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery, Ft. Thomas.

Mrs. Wegmann, who was 79, had lived for the past two years with her daughter, Mrs. Henry Wenzel, 512 E. 20th street, Covington.  She had previously lived in Newport. Born in Germany, she came to America as a child.

Organizations of which she was a member will hold services at the funeral home as follows: St. Ann Ladies Society of St Stephen Church, 7:30 p.m.; St Ann Ladies Society of Knights of St. John, 8 p.m.; Ladies Auxiliary of the James Wallace Costigan Post, American Legion. Newport, 8:15 p.m.; and the Newport Circle No. 88, Daughters of Isabella, 8:30 p.m. Mrs. Wegmann was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Home of the Good Shepherd., Ft. Thomas and Circle of Mercy of St. Elizabeth Hospital.

She leaves, besides her daughter, another daughter, Mrs. John Schaber, Ft. Thomas; a son, Herman Wegmann, Newport; two brothers, Henry & Theodore Hilge, both of Newport; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
