FALL PROVED FATAL

Mrs. Anna Schweitzer, widow of Carl Schweitzer, and mother-in-law of John Steinhauser, was almost instantly killed some time early yesterday morning by falling downstairs at her home. Mrs. Schweitzer was subject to attacks of vertigo. Some time during the night she arose and started downstairs. She fell and rolled to the bottom of the steps.

Her daughter and son-in-law heard the noise but thought it was the family downstairs making the noise and paid no attention. Yesterday morning when Mr. Steinhauser arose he found Mrs. Schweitzer dead at the bottom of the stairs. Her skull and nose were broken and there were numerous bruises about her body. Coroner Digby returned a verdict of death due to multiple injuries received as stated above.

Mrs. Schweitzer was 71 years of age and resided with her daughter at 33 East Third street.
