Mrs. Anna Offenbacher, 62, Church Worker,
Dies
Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Offenbacher, 62, of 822 Park-av., Newport, Will be held Wednesday at 2 pm at the home, with Rev. Paul Reikow, pastor of St John’s Evangelical Church, Newport, officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Offenbacher died Sunday at her home following an illness of two years. She was born in Germany, but came to Newport when she was 19.
She was a member of the Ladies’ Aid Society of
St. John’s Evangelical Church and the Ladies’ Aid Society of Campbell-co
Orphans’ Home.
Besider her husband, William Offenbacher, she leaves one son, Edwin Offenbacher;
three grandchildren. Wilbert, Elise Marie & Shirley Marie Offenbacher; three
brothers, William Beneke, Nashville, Tenn. And Carl and Herman Beneke, both of
the Province of Saxony, Germany. Another son, Wilbert Offenbacher, died in
France during the World War.
