SEPARATION-Anna Curtis filed suit in the Campbell County Court Wednesday afternoon for divorce from her husband, William Curtis. She says they were married in Kentucky in 1895 and charges him with the confirmed habit of drunkenness and cruelty. She wants to be restored to her maiden name, Anna Roller.
When Deputy Sheriff Charles Davis served the summons on Curtis Wednesday afternoon he went "away up in the air" and threatened his wife. She asked Davis to place him under arrest but the official refused and referred her to Police Judge Moore. Mrs. Curtis appeared at the Police Headquarters in the evening and had her husband arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct, and he was placed under arrest. In Police Court Thursday morning he was dismissed, his wife failing to appear.
