Requiem High Mass will be sung at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Stephen Church for Andrew Schneider, of 1028 Orchard street, Newport, who died Friday at his home after a short illness. Prayers will be said at 9 a.m. at the Betz funeral home, Newport. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery.
Mr. Schneider, 92, was a native of Harrison, Ind., and had resided in Campbell county 90 years. He was a retired carpenter-contractor, and a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Stephen Church.
He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Catherine Walgroski, Newport; and Miss Anna Schneider, at home; a son, Joseph Schneider, Bellevue; two brothers, Anthony Schneider, Newport; and Joseph Schneider, Cold Spring; two sisters, Mrs. Frances Campbell, Southgate; and Mrs. Elizabeth WIckman, Quincy, Ill.; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
