Funeral services for Mrs. Amelia Worcester Griebel, 76, of 705 Monroe st. Newport, will be held Thursday at 10 am at the Fred A Erschell & Son Funeral home, 227 E Sixth st. Newport, with Rev H C Wayman, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Griebel died at her home following a lingering illness. She was a lifelong resident of Newport and a member of the First Baptist Church many years. She is survived by a son, William Griebel, with whom she lived and a sister, Mrs. Mary E Pickett, Sarasota Fla.
