NEWPORT
Departing One by One-It was but a short time ago that we were
called upon to record the death of an eminent citizen, who departed this life
for another and a better world, and now we have to chronicle another.
On Sunday last, Mrs. Amanda Frances, the amiable consort of J B Hawes, Esq. was called to her long account, leaving a family of children as chief mourners. It is indeed a sad bereavement.
