Alvin William Tarvin

Alvin W Tarvin, 65, died suddenly at midnight Saturday at the home, 804 Maple av. Newport. He was under treatment for stomach trouble, but he had been attending his duites as special United States storekeeper and gager, which position he held at the time of his death.

He was on duty at Milton Ky. and returned home Saturday evening. A widow and four children survive him: Alvin W Jr. Thomas and Leonora, all of Newport, and Frank Tarvin of Lexington.

Funeral services over the remains of Alvin Tarvin were held Monday afternoon at his late residence on Maple av. Rev Dr. Boreing and Rev Otis Luce officiating. Interment was in Beech Grove.
