DAYTON KY
Mr. John Kleinbeck yesterday evening had a warrant sworn out for
Miss Alpha Robinson, teacher in the public school, on the charge of cruelly
whipping his son Leo, aged 12.
The child tried to keep it from his parents and although he was whipped last Tuesday, his mother knew nothing of the occurrence until the boy went to take his bath last Saturday, when she noticed that he had three or four gashes on his leg which were so deep that they were lying open and filled with clotted blood.
The boy claims that Joe Butts, a schoolmate, pinched him and then he returned the pinch, which caused the other boy to cry out. Then, he claims, the teacher chastised him.
