Services for Aloysius Krift, Alexandria farmer, who died at his home on Persimmon Grove pike early today, will be held at 8:30 am Tuesday at the residence followed by Requiem High Mass at St Mary Church. Burial will be in St Mary Cemetery. Mr. Krift was a life long resident of Campbell count and was 78. He leaves three sons, John F Krift, St Louis; Aloysius Krift Jr. and Frank W Krift of Alexandria. Tharp and Stith are in charge of funeral arrangements.

The driver of an auto, who leaped from his car and fled after it ran through a red light at Fifth street and Central avenue, Newport, and crashed into another auto was being hunted Monday by police. Glenna Krift, 17, riding in the other auto driven by her father, Aloyz Krift, Alexandria, sustained head cuts and brusies. Mr. Krift told police the driver of the other auto apparently uninjured, alighted and fled.

Requiem High Mass will be sung at 9:30 am Saturday at St Mary Church, Alexandria, for Aloys H Krift, Persimmon Grove pike, who died Wednesday at his home. Prayers will be said at 9 am at the Alexandria Funeral home. Burial will be in Alexandria cemetery. A lifelong resident of Campbell county, Mr. Krift was 57.

He leaves his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Krift, a daughter Mrs. Glenna Kramer, Alexandria; his mother Mary Krift, Campbell county and a brother Frank Krift, Alexandria. He was a member of Simon Gosney Post, American Legion, Alexandria. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 pm.
