DEATH

Requiem High Mass for Aloysius W. Schabell, florist, Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring, will be sung at St. Joseph Church, Cold Spring, at 9 a.m. Monday following prayers at the residence, at 8:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery. He was 81. Mr. Schabell, a native of Newport, died Thursday nigh at at his home following a lingering illness. He operated his florist business and greenhouses at Cold Spring. Mr. Schabell was a member of St. Joseph Benevolent Society, Cold Spring, and St. Joseph Men’s Society of St. Joseph Church.
He leaves his widow, Mrs. Catherine (Scherrer) Schabell; four sons, Albert, Joseph, Edward and Ollie; four daughters, Mrs. Stella Sacksteder, Mrs. F W Winkler, Mrs. William Bruggeman and Mrs. Logan Ware; 19 grandchildren, nine of whom are members of the U.S. Army and two great-grandchildren.
Muehlenkamp, Costigan & Roll, Newport, are in charge of the funeral.
