Aloysius Bendel

When Mrs. Aloysius Bendel, of Covington, brought the remains of her husband, who was killed Monday at Cumberland, MD. home Wednesday evening, she was given another shock. Her mother, Mrs. Catherine Kepp, of this city, died two months ago and she had never received the news.

When Mrs. Bendel left for Cumberland several months ago, she made the request that she be informed as to her mother's condition. Through some mistake she was not notified of her death, even and when the news was broken to her, so close on the heels of her other bereavement, she almost collapsed.

Bendel was killed in a railroad accident. He will be buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Newport.
