NEWPORT
Alonzo Woodall, 39, of No 234 West Fourth street, Newport, died
last night after suffering from many months with tuberculosis, which he
contracted during the flood in the spring of 1906. While returning to his
home in a skiff one night the boat was upset and he was precipitated into the
river. He caught a severe cold, which terminated in the disease to which
he succumbed.
He leaves a widow and four children. Mrs. Woodall was completely prostrated when told of her husband's death. The dead man was a son of Captain Woodall, the Covington Police Department.
