Dr. Alonzo Totten, a graduate of the Dayton High School, won honors at the commencement of the Ft Worth Tex. Medical College. He received the highest prize awarded to the class in surgery.

Dr. Alonzo Frank Totten, 42, died at his residence at 2 pm Friday afternoon. He was a native of Kentucky but had lived in San Antonio for the past fourteen years. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Amelia Totten of San Antonio and his mother, Mrs. Jennie Totten of Dayton Ky. He was a member of the Hermann Son Lodge.
The funeral will be held from the chapel of the Zizik Undertaking company at 2:30 Sunday afternoon, followed by services at the Sacred Heart Church, Rev Joseph Jacobbi officiating. Interment will be in the San Fernando Cemetery No 2.
