MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR HERO OF WAR-A memorial service honoring Aviation Radioman Second Class Allen Walker, son of Rev and Mrs. F E Walker, 267 Washington avenue, Bellevue, who was killed May 18 in the Aleutian Islands, will be held at the Bellevue Baptist Church at 10:30 am Sunday. It is to be attended by the young war victim's brother, Aviation Machinists' Mate Second Class William Walker, who was in the Aleutians with his brother at the time of his death. Another brother, Farrish Walker, a member of the Army, now is in England.
Rev Byland, pastor of the church is to speak on "A Vapor that Vanishes." Miss Margaret Billerman will sing "There is no Death." Rev Walker is pastor of the Flagg Springs Baptist Church and Allen Walker was a member of Florence Baptist Church.

Mr. and Mrs. Farrish E Walker, 267 Washington avenue, Bellevue, have been notified by the Navy Department that one of their sons, Allen Flanigan Walker, aviation radioman second class, is missing in the Aleutian Islands. Radioman Walker failed to return from an aircraft patrol over the Pacific, his parents were told. He had been in the Aleutian area one year.
