Allen Brackett, 21, a veteran of World War II, died late Wednesdy at Speers Hospital, Dayton. Mr. Brackett, who served with the Navy in World War II, lived at 833 Thornton street, Dayton. A graduate of Dayton High School in 1942, Mr. Brackett ws a student at the University of Cincinnati and also at Purdue.
He took the Navy V-12 training course at Purdue College. A member of the Dayton Presbyterian Church, Mr. Brackett was also a member of the Sigma Chi Kappa Society of Purdue. He leaves his parents Mr. and Mrs. Albert Brackett and a sister, Miss Betty Jane Brackett at home. Services will be held at 9 am Saturday at the Dobbling funeral home, Bellevue. Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery.
