Rev Alfred G Schnake, pastor of the Christ Evangelical Church in Ft Thomas has extended to all music lovers of Northern Kentucky an invitation to a musical recital, Thursday, Feb 6 at 8 pm.

Rev Alfred G Schnake, pastor of Christ Evangelical and Reformed Church, Ft Thomas has been ordered to report May 7 for chaplain training at Harvard University, Cambridge Mass. Rev Schnake who has been pastor of the Ft Thomas church for 17 years has received a commission as a Lieutenant in the Army. During Rev Schnake's sojourn in Ft Thomas the church has taken long strikes. A new church was built at a cost of $86,000 at Ft Thomas avenue and Audubon place and a parsonage was acquired four years ago.
Rev Schnake served eight years as secretary and vice president of its synod of the Evangelical Church and was a delegate to the national synod meetings on several occasions. In addition, he has held various offices in the Evangelical and Reformed group of the Greater Cincinnati area.
He is a graduate of Elmhurst College, Elmhurst Ill. Eden Theological Seminary St Louis, and the Oberlin Graduate School of Theology, Oberlin Mo. He will occupy the pulpit of the Ft Thomas Church Sunday morning the last time before reporting for duty. He has been granted a leave of absence. Mrs. Schnake and their two daughters will continue to live in Ft Thomas for the present.
