The general court martial of the Eighth Volunteer Infantry sat at
Ft Thomas yesterday. The officers sitting were Colonel E L Huggins, Major Felix
Rosenberg, Captain R T Jacobs, Captain H L Jenkinson, Captain C E Estes. Captain
G W Green, First Lieutenant G A Henderson and First Lieutenant J R Gillespie,
Judge Advocate.
Private Alfred Banks of Company G, was on trial for disorderly conduct and for attempting to stab a street railway employee at Ft. Thomas a short time ago. The finding of the court marital will be sent to Washington for approval and until then will be kept secret.
